David Wiseman

David Wiseman is an experienced Database Administrator with a strong background in database management and performance tuning. Currently employed at Viewpoint since July 2007, David oversees the production database servers for the company's online collaboration solution, focusing on high availability, disaster recovery, and capacity planning. Prior to this role, David worked at South Tyneside PCT from June 2005 to July 2007, where responsibilities included managing a data warehouse and implementing the Kimball methodology alongside an upgrade to SQL Server 2005. David's career began as an IT Technician at Tyne Metropolitan College in 2003, eventually becoming the IT Development Officer, complemented by certifications such as MCP and MCSE. David's earlier experience includes retail sales positions at Currys and Tiny Computers during the late 1990s and early 2000s.
