Project Coordinator at VillageReach

Joan Kalepa is an experienced Project Coordinator at VillageReach since May 2022, where Joan leads a Welcome Trust-funded study focused on immunization barriers for children under two years, utilizing Human-Centered Design methodologies. Previous roles include Caregiver Researcher Consultant, where qualitative research methods influenced decision-making regarding immunization in Malawi, and the Listening, Monitoring & Evaluation Coordinator at HOPE International, overseeing household surveys and training enumerators. Earlier experience includes working with World Vision, the World Food Programme, and Self Help Africa in various monitoring and evaluation capacities. Educational qualifications include a Postgraduate Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation from Cavendish University Zambia, a Bachelor's Degree in Social Science (Economics) from Catholic University of Malawi, and ongoing studies for a Master of Science in Project Management at the Malawi Institute of Management.
