Dat Quoc Nguyen

Dat Quoc Nguyen is an experienced professional in the field of Natural Language Processing, currently serving as the Head of the Natural Language Processing department at VinAI since December 2019, where research focuses on core NLP problems and machine learning methods for low-resource languages. Prior roles include Interim Head and Honorary Fellow at the University of Melbourne, conducting similar research from December 2017 to November 2021, and a Researcher at the University of Engineering and Technology, VNU Hanoi, where projects involved developing knowledge-based question answering systems and language processing applications. Dat Quoc Nguyen also gained research experience through internships at Dublin City University and Technische Universität Darmstadt, and holds a PhD in Computer Science from Macquarie University and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the University of Engineering and Technology, VNU Hanoi.
