Alexa Poteet

Alexa Poteet is an accomplished wine expert and writer with extensive experience in publishing and content creation. Currently serving as a Tasting Lab member at VINOHEAD since April 2022, Poteet reviews wines for an international audience and offers purchasing recommendations. As a Contributing Editor for the Vintner Project since July 2019, Poteet writes feature-length articles on viticulture and holds a WSET Level 3 Award in Wines & Spirits with honors. Previous roles include General Content Creator at wikiHow, Editor at Large for Dino Publishing, and Associate Managing Editor for The National Interest, among others. Alexa Poteet holds a Master’s degree in Writing from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Notre Dame.
