Patrick Ooley

Patrick Ooley has an extensive work experience in the field of quality operations and administration in the blood service industry. Patrick began their career at Indiana Blood Center in 1987 as the Chief Compliance Officer, holding the position for 16 years. In 2003, they joined Blood Systems where they served as the Director of Quality Source for four years before transitioning to the role of Corporate Director of Quality Operations. Patrick continued working at Blood Systems until 2016 when they joined Vitalant as the Senior Corporate Director of Quality. In 2022, Patrick Ooley was promoted to the role of Vice President of Quality Operations and Administrative Services at Vitalant.

Patrick Ooley has a Master's degree in Management from Indiana Wesleyan University, which they completed from 2000 to 2002. Before that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology from Indiana State University, where they studied from 1982 to 1986. In addition to their formal education, Patrick Ooley has obtained a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in May 2022.
