Wendy Knowles

Wendy Knowles has over 20 years of work experience in the healthcare industry. Wendy started their career at BloodSource in 1994 as an Apheresis Specialist, responsible for collecting blood products from volunteer donors. Wendy then worked as a Supervisor in the Apheresis Department, ensuring compliance with regulations and supervising up to 20 staff members. In 1997, they became the Director of the Hemapheresis Center, providing leadership support to a team of RN managers and overseeing the collection of over 100,000 blood components.

In 2000, Wendy took on the role of Project Specialist at BloodSource (formerly Sacramento Medical Foundation) before transitioning to Gambro Healthcare as a Dialysis RN in 2001.
