Richard Parron II has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Richard currently serves as the Senior Vice President of the US/Canada region at Vitro, where they manage a team of 429 salaried and 1,947 hourly employees, with a focus on improving operational performance and reducing costs. Prior to this, they were the Vice President of U.S Manufacturing at Vitro, overseeing nine manufacturing sites and implementing organizational processes. Richard also worked as a Plant Manager at Vitro, responsible for the P&L of a large automotive glass fabrication facility. Before joining Vitro, they were the Plant Manager at MetoKote Corporation, leading a team of 60 employees in e-coating and powder coating automotive components. Richard also held management positions at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, ArcelorMittal, and NLMK Group, where they managed budgets and led manufacturing processes. Richard began their career in the United States Marine Corps as a Marine Counterintelligence Team member.
Richard Parron II earned their Master's of Business (MBA) degree from Bethel University, College of Professional Studies from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Technical Management (BSTM) degree at DeVry University from 2005 to 2007. Richard's high school education was at Troy High School from 1988 to 1991, where they obtained a General Education degree. Richard also holds a Lean Six Sigma Fundamentals certification from LinkedIn, obtained in 2017.
