Ryan Schulz

Ryan Schulz has extensive work experience in the field of life sciences. Ryan is currently a Senior Research Associate at Volastra Therapeutics, starting in June 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Black Diamond Therapeutics as a Senior Associate Scientist from October 2018 to April 2022. Before that, they were a Research Associate III at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from July 2015 to September 2018. Ryan also worked as an Associate Scientist at Coferon, Inc. from December 2012 to June 2015.

Beginning their career, Ryan served as an Associate Scientist at OSI Pharmaceuticals Inc. from February 2008 to November 2012. In this role, they focused on developing biochemical and cell-based assays to test small molecule kinase inhibitors for various oncogenic targets. Ryan gained a deeper understanding of the biology of these targets and presented their findings at departmental meetings.

Prior to that, Ryan worked as a Scientist at Enzo Life Sciences, Inc. from July 2006 to February 2008.
