Becca James

Becca James is a seasoned editorial professional with extensive experience in digital media. Currently serving as a Senior Editor at Vox Media since August 2021, Becca has held various senior editorial positions, including roles in Local and News, and also took on the responsibilities of Interim Editorial Director for News. Prior experience includes a tenure at G/O Media from August 2013 to January 2019, where Becca worked as a Freelance Writer and held the positions of Internet Culture Editor, Associate Editor, and Copyeditor. Becca's career began at Pop 'stache, which Becca founded and led as Editor-In-Chief from September 2009 to November 2015, managing a team of 50 and overseeing the publication's content and operations. Becca holds a B.A. in Journalism from Columbia College Chicago, an M.A. in Secondary Education from Hamline University, and an editing certificate from the Poynter Institute.
