Erika Finn

Vice President, Private Credit, Legal at Voya Investment Management

Erika Finn has extensive experience in the legal field. Erika worked at Voya Investment Management as Vice President, Private Credit, Legal where they advised on all legal aspects of private placement of debt securities. Erika also advised on domestic and cross-border private placements of secured and unsecured debt, including project financings, real estate, and acquisition financings. Prior to that, Erika worked at Andrews Kurth Kenyon LLP as Of Counsel. In this role, they drafted, analyzed, and negotiated various commercial agreements, including sales agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and derivative payment agreements. Erika also handled secondary market transactions, reviewed restructuring support agreements, plans of reorganization, and debtor-in-possession financing agreements in connection with distressed debt and asset purchases and sales.

Erika Finn completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan in 1999. Following that, they attended Brooklyn Law School where they obtained their Juris Doctor degree from 2000 to 2003. In 2013, Erika obtained a Certification in Leadership and Career Coaching from the Institute For Professional Excellence In Coaching (iPEC) within a year.
