Abby Dickes has a long and varied work experience in the space and aerospace industry. In 2021, they began working as the Executive Vice President of Marketing at Voyager Space and the Government Marketing & Communications Manager at Maxar Technologies. From 2014 to 2021, they held several roles at Nanoracks LLC, including Director of Marketing, Communications, and Special Events, Marketing Communications Manager, and Space Marketing and PR Intern. From 2016 to 2021, they were the Manager of Creative and Strategic Planning at DreamUp PBC. In 2014, they were a Space Division Intern at the Aerospace Industries Association. From 2013 to 2012, they were a Legislative Intern at the U.S. House of Representatives, Committee on Science, Space, and Technology, and an Intern at the Leadership and Community Service Learning Office at the University of Maryland. In 2012, they were a Legislative Intern at NASA Headquarters- Office of Legislative and Intergovernmental Affairs, and a Public Observatory and Education Intern at the Smithsonian Institution, National Air and Space Museum.
Abby Dickes attended the University of Maryland from 2010 to 2014 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Government as well as a Minor in Astronomy.
