Tarik Ruiz Medina, Ph.D. serves as the New Technologies Manager at Vytrus Biotech since April 2016, focusing on the design and execution of scientific projects for recombinant protein production and developing innovative technologies for the company's portfolio. Previous roles include Advanced Biotechnology Manager, Biological Process Area Manager, and Production Manager at Vytrus Biotech and Phyture Biotech S.L., where Tarik led the transfer of R&D technologies to industrial scale and managed production processes. In academia, Tarik holds positions as Associate Professor at Universitat de Vic – Universitat Central de Catalunya and EADA Business School, specializing in biotechnology lectures.
