Yuying Shu

Senior Principal Scientist at W. R. Grace & Co.

Yuying Shu has extensive experience in the field of research and development. They began their career in 2000 as a NEDO Post-doctoral Researcher and COE Research Fellow at Hokkaido University. From 2002 to 2005, they worked as a Research Associate at Virginia Tech. In 2005, they took on the role of Visiting Scientist at the University of Delaware. The following year, they became an Associate Professor at the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in China. In 2006, they transitioned to industry and became an R&D Engineer at W. R. Grace & Co. They quickly progressed to become a Senior R&D Engineer and later a Principal Scientist. Presently, Yuying Shu holds the position of Senior Principal Scientist at W. R. Grace & Co. Their work experience spans various roles and positions in both academic and industrial settings, showcasing their expertise in the field.

Yuying Shu earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Chemical Engineering from Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics from 1995 to 2000. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Wuhan University from 1987 to 1991. Yuying has also obtained several certifications from LinkedIn in various management and leadership topics.
