Natalie Birkholz

Natalie Birkholz is a dedicated Middle School Science Teacher at Walnut Creek School District, specializing in 7th-grade life science and 8th-grade physical science since August 2019. Prior experience includes serving as a Substitute Teacher for Napa County Office of Education and working as a Naturalist at Caritas Creek at CYO Camp, where educational activities focused on ecology for students in grades 4 through 8. Natalie's background also features roles at YMCA Camp Jones Gulch, Mission Springs Outdoor Education, and as a volunteer with UC Davis's Aquatic Resources Group, demonstrating a strong commitment to environmental education and experiential learning. Natalie earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a minor in Biology and Biological Oceanography from Humboldt State University.
