Nasha Patel has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Nasha currently holds the position of Managing Director at Watershed Advisors since March 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Advisor for Planning and Strategy at Oregon Early Learning Division from October 2020 to March 2021.
Before their role in Oregon, Nasha worked extensively in the Louisiana Department of Education. Nasha'sroles included Deputy Assistant Superintendent, Early Childhood (March 2020 - October 2020), Chief of Early Childhood Strategy (March 2019 - March 2020), Director of Quality and Access, Office of Early Childhood (June 2018 - February 2019), Accountability Senior Manager, Office of Early Childhood (May 2016 - May 2018), and Policy Analyst, Office of Early Childhood (June 2014 - May 2016).
Nasha also had previous experience in the Louisiana Department of Education as a Communications Strategist in the Office of District Support (August 2012 - July 2013) and as a Policy Fellow (June 2012 - August 2012).
Nasha's earliest work experience dates back to their role as a Teacher at Slaughter Elementary from August 2010 to June 2012.
Nasha Patel attended Barnard College from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Classics and Classical Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics. In 2013, they attended the Harvard Graduate School of Education and earned a Master of Education - MEd degree, specializing in Education Policy and Management.
