Gabriela Bzorek

Gabriela Bzorek is the Community Support Manager at Wattpad. Gabriela previously worked as a Technical Writer for Oracle from May 2017 to August 2017.

Gabriela has always been interested in writing and helping others. Gabriela started their career as a technical writer for Oracle, creating product documentation for new enhancements and features to marketing software. Gabriela also edited and enhanced existing documentation to create a more helpful user experience for the end user.

During their time at Oracle, Gabriela also researched website analytic information and created presentations to specify areas that needed attention, areas that were succeeding, and next steps for both. Gabriela analyzed customer feedback in combination with website analytic information to identify areas of improvement, and then documented that information in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Gabriela also organized customer feedback, created JIRA tickets when appropriate and assigned them depending on importance.

In addition to their writing duties, Gabriela also created video tutorials with both audio and visual properties that appeared on the company’s official YouTube site. These videos were very well received by the public and garnered thousands of views.

Gabriela was also responsible for proofreading their co-worker’s documentation to ensure grammatically and syntactically sound writing that aligned with the Oracle standard and would be most beneficial to the end user. Gabriela also conducted meetings to identify areas of documentation with conflicting stylistic choices and proposed standards to create more consistent content.

Gabriela’s excellent work at Oracle led their to their current position as Community Support Manager at Wattpad, where they continue to help others through their writing.
