Fmva® Valentine Kathambi

Valentine Kathambi, FMVA®, is a Finance Associate at Wavetec since August 2021, responsible for conducting cost-benefit analyses, preparing financial reports for senior management, and assisting in formulating financial contracts. Currently serving as a Newton Venture Fellow at the Newton Venture Program since September 2024, Valentine contributes to efforts aimed at disrupting the venture ecosystem for positive change. Prior experience includes a finance and accounting internship at the Water Resources Authority, where responsibilities included drafting variance analysis reports and maintaining general accounts. Valentine holds a CPA in Accounting and Finance from the Summit Institute of Professionals and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from Kenyatta University.
