Timothy R. Kluender

Timothy has served in nearly every role of a community bank over the past 28 years. As President and Chief Executive Officer of WCF, as well as a member of bank’s Board of Directors, he is responsible for the daily activities and financial performance of the bank and shareholder relations, while working closely with and managing members of the executive team. His secret to success: “I pride myself on frequently visiting with all members of the bank staff. My approach is to hire the best bankers possible and ensure they have the relevant training, tools, and financial products to perform their jobs at a high level, which allows them to flourish and provide our customers with excellent service without being micromanaged.” Timothy is a graduate of Simpson College and the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His hobbies include travel (he has been to every U.S. state other than Alaska and many foreign countries) and following University of Iowa athletics (Go, Hawks!).
