Roope Hovi

Roope Hovi started their work experience in 2012 as a Junior Software Engineer at Comptel, where they developed UI using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript. Roope worked on developing an SDK for building HTML5 single-page app interfaces. Roope then joined Fast Monkeys in 2014 as a Frontend Developer, primarily working with AngularJS and making small changes to their REST API built with Python Flask. Since 2015, they have been working at Webflow, first as a Senior Software Engineer and currently as a Staff Software Engineer.

Roope Hovi pursued their education at Aalto University, where they completed their Bachelor of Science (Technology) degree in Software Engineering and Business, specializing in WWW Technologies. This course spanned from 2008 to 2014. Subsequently, they continued their academic journey at Aalto University and achieved a Master of Science (Technology) degree in Software and Service Engineering from 2014 to 2019.
