Alyssa Spencer MPA, PA-C

Alyssa Spencer MPA, PA-C has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Alyssa began their career at Enloe Medical Center as an Intern in Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation in April 2010. Alyssa then worked at Jumpstart Medicine as a Program Educator from July 2010 to August 2011. After that, they joined the Institute for Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine, Dr. Jeffrey Halbrecht as a Medical Assistant from August 2011 to July 2013.

In 2013, Alyssa became a Master Physician Assistant Student at Samuel Merritt University, where they stayed until December 2015. Alyssa then moved on to Western Sierra Medical Center, where they worked as a Physician Assistant from December 2015 to October 2017.

Currently, Alyssa is associated with WellSpace Health since October 2017. Alyssa has held several roles in this organization, including Physician Assistant, Lead Clinician, Clinician Mentor, and currently serves as Associate Medical Director since July 2021.

Alyssa Spencer MPA, PA-C completed their education in a chronological manner. Alyssa first pursued a Master's Degree in Physician Assistant from Samuel Merritt University from 2013 to 2015. Continuing their educational journey, they joined the University of California, Davis and Irvine for a Fellowship in Primary Care Psychiatry, which took place between 2020 and 2021. Prior to these pursuits, Alyssa attended California State University, Chico from 2005 to 2010, where they earned their Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology. During their time at Chico State, they also completed a minor in Nutrition and Spanish.
