Andrew Sargis

Andrew Sargis has extensive experience in the passenger vessel industry, specifically with Wendella Tours & Cruises. Andrew has held various roles with the company, including Director of Sales and Chief of Operations, Chief of Operations, and Chicago Water Taxi Manager. In these positions, Andrew has demonstrated expertise in operations, eCommerce, ticketing, and relationship management. Andrew has also been actively involved in trade and business organizations, representing Wendella Tours & Cruises at conventions and trade shows. Additionally, Andrew played a key role in expanding the Chicago Water Taxi fleet and negotiating with private developers and governmental entities.

In addition to their work at Wendella Tours & Cruises, Andrew has also been involved in the industry at a broader level. Andrew has served as a Board Member and Great Lakes Region Chairman for the Passenger Vessel Association (PVA). As part of their role with PVA, Andrew advocated for favorable tax, regulatory, and governmental policy for the passenger vessel industry. Andrew also served as the Legislative Committee Chairman, assisting with industry advocacy strategy.

Outside of the passenger vessel industry, Andrew has volunteered as a Chicago Greeter with Choose Chicago, providing personal orientations to tourists and visitors. Andrew is also an Executive Board Member and English Secretary for the Chicago Chinatown Chamber of Commerce, where they contribute to promoting and facilitating economic development in the Chinatown business community.

Andrew Sargis attended the University of Colorado Boulder from 2004 to 2008, although no specific degree or field of study was mentioned. In 2013, they also completed an executive education program in Digital Marketing Management at Loyola University Chicago. In 2016, Andrew Sargis obtained a Mini MBA degree in Executive Education from Loyola University Chicago as well.
