John Kovach

John Kovach is an experienced professional, currently serving as the Owner of Carpe Diem Business Consulting since April 2014, where responsibilities include managing workstreams for health services start-ups and creating marketing and operational strategies. Additionally, John has been with West Coast Athletic Clubs since March 2004, progressing from Assistant Department Director to Athletic Performance Coach and Department Director, achieving consistent departmental revenue growth of 17% or more annually. Prior to this, John held positions at UC Santa Barbara as a Research Technician, and at the Project for Excellence in Journalism as a Research Consultant. Early career roles included Field Operations Manager at Neushul Mariculture Incorporated and Research Technician at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Academic qualifications include a B.A. in Biology from Duke University, graduate studies in Marine Biology from the University of Maryland, and an M.B.A. in Business Administration from California State University Channel Islands.
