Heather Washington

Heather Washington has a diverse work experience in various industries. Heather is currently working as the Senior Vice President of Development - Motion Pictures at Westbrook Inc since August 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Development at Will Packer Productions from February 2017 to August 2020. Heather also has experience in the film industry as they worked as the Manager of the Emerging Writers Fellowship Program at Universal Pictures from August 2013 to January 2017 and as an Associate in the Universal Pictures Leadership Program from July 2010 to August 2013. Before entering the entertainment industry, they had legal experience as an Attorney focusing on Mergers and Acquisitions at DLA Piper from 2008 to 2009 and as an Attorney specializing in Corporate Finance at Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP from 2006 to 2008. Heather began their career as a Financial Analyst in Foreign Exchange eCommerce at Goldman Sachs from 2000 to 2002, where they played a role in generating new business and facilitating the transition to electronic trading.

Heather Washington obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from the University of Pennsylvania from 2003 to 2006. Prior to that, they attended Frederick Douglass High School. Heather also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Systems & Computer Science from Howard University. Heather Washington is also certified to practice law, having obtained a Law License from the State Bar of Georgia in 2008.
