Sophie Porra

Sophie Porra is an experienced human resources professional currently serving as the General Manager People at the Western Bulldogs since October 2016. Prior to this role, Sophie held various positions at Asciano from May 2012 to October 2016, including Human Resources Manager for the Patrick Division and HR Advisor roles. In addition, Sophie contributed as a volunteer English teacher for the Light and Leadership Initiative in Peru in 2013. Earlier career experiences include roles at The Fair Work Ombudsman from December 2007 to May 2012, where duties ranged from Fair Work Inspector to various advisory positions. Sophie holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business with a focus on Management and Marketing from Swinburne University of Technology, completed between 2006 and 2010.
