Sunita Kharel

Sunita Kharel is a Facilities Engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently employed at Western Midstream since April 2020, Sunita supports gas and oil gathering pipeline system design and operations while planning multiple projects to minimize customer impacts. Prior roles include Facilities Engineer positions at Oxy and Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, where Sunita provided support for hydrocarbon gas processing plants and gas gathering field stations, managing daily operations, troubleshooting, project management, and process design. Early career experiences include internships as a Process Safety Engineer at Anadarko and a Process Safety Co-op at Siemens Energy, along with academic roles as a tutor and teacher assistant in chemistry and math. Sunita holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
