Catherine Steeves

Catherine Steeves currently serves as Program Director for OCUL AI & Machine Learning at the Ontario Council of University Libraries, a position held since June 2024. With extensive experience in academic libraries, Catherine has been a Senior Librarian and served as Vice-Provost & Chief Librarian at Western University since August 2014. Prior roles include Deputy CIO & Associate Chief Librarian at the University of Guelph, as well as earlier positions at the University of Alberta and Cape Breton University. Catherine's academic background includes an EdD in Higher Education Leadership from Western University, an M.L.I.S. from Western University, and a B.A. in North American Studies from McGill University.
