Kathie Edwards

Kathie Edwards began their career in 1992 as the President & CEO of Westpark Communications, a 24/7 Customer Service Call Center. In 2010, they took on the role of Past Chair-Business Resource Committee at the Houston West Chamber of Commerce. Kathie then became the Past Chair-Membership Committee and Past Chair-WBEA Golf Committee at the Women's Business Enterprise Alliance in 2009. In 2012, they joined the Board of Directors at the Women Business Enterprise Alliance (WBEA). In 2011, they were appointed 2013 Chair of the Board of Directors at the Houston West Chamber of Commerce. Finally, in 2017, they joined the Board Of Directors at the Houston Northwest Chamber of Commerce.

Kathie Edwards graduated from Lamar High School in 1979. Kathie has obtained an Executive MBA from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and The University of Texas at Austin. Kathie has also taken courses in Small Business Management and Business Administration at Houston Community College. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (Texas Historically Underutilized Business (HUB), obtained in June 2015), Womens Business Enterprise Alliance (Women's Business Enterprise National Council, obtained in May 2007), and the Better Business Bureau (Better Business Bureau Accredited, no year specified).
