Dan Matthews

Dan Matthews has over 25 years of experience in the legal and water management fields. Dan began their career in 1993 as the Wasatch County Attorney for Wasatch County, Utah. In 1999, they became the General Manager of Jordanelle Special Service District. In 2015, they opened their own law practice, Dan Matthews Law. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as an Attorney at Gordon Law Group. Dan then moved on to their current role as Chief Water Officer for WETx, where they provide water and wastewater management and consulting services to municipalities, special districts, developers, and other private clients.

Dan Matthews attended J. Reuben Clark Law School, Brigham Young University from 1986 to 1989, where they earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology. In 1987, they completed a summer internship. In June 1989, they obtained an Utah Attorney License from the Utah State Bar.
