Alana Sloan

Alana Sloan began their work experience in 2001 as an HR Industrial Placement at BAE Systems. Alana then moved on to various HR roles at WHSmith, starting as a Recruitment Advisor in 2006 and progressing through positions such as HR Advisor, HR Business Partner, and Head of HR. Most recently, they have served as the People Director for WHSmith's High Street division since September 2021.

Alana Sloan completed a BA (Hons) degree in Business Studies from the University of the West of England, which they attended from 1999 to 2003. Prior to that, they attended Redland High School from 1991 to 1999, where they achieved 3 A Levels in Business Studies, English Literature, and History, along with 1 A/S Level in Religious Education. Additionally, in 2016, they obtained certification in the Adult MHFA 2 Day Course from Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England.
