Peter H. Schmidt is a highly experienced executive with a diverse background in aviation, technology, and non-profit leadership. As COO and Co-Founder of Transcend Air Corporation, Schmidt is instrumental in developing the Vy 421, a next-generation HSVTOL aircraft aimed at revolutionizing urban air travel. Additionally, Schmidt serves as Chair of the Electric Flight Test Committee for the E-VTOL Flight Test Council, focusing on best practices for electric aircraft certification. Schmidt has held senior advisory and leadership roles at Linear Air and Cape Ann Development Partners, and actively contributes to non-profit organizations like Ascentria Care Alliance and Wildlife Acoustics, Inc. with a focus on community empowerment and strategic guidance.
