Larry Kastein

Larry Kastein has extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as Electrical Superintendent at WTEC since 2009, where involvement spans construction, testing, and commissioning of solar and wind power collector systems totaling 121MW and 294MW, respectively, across various locations in the US and a 5MW project in Suriname. Prior to WTEC, Larry held the same title at RMT from 2007 to 2009, managing electrical collector system construction for wind projects totaling 264MW while ensuring compliance with safety and contractual obligations. Larry began a career in the energy field as a journeyman lineman with Wisconsin Power and Light-Alliant Energy from 1980 to 2007, gaining valuable experience in HV and MV construction, maintenance, and troubleshooting of transmission and distribution systems.
