Josh Silverman

Josh Silverman has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Josh is currently the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Windfall Bio since October 2022. Prior to this, they held various positions at Aromyx Corporation, including Chief Science Advisor from October 2022 to present, and CEO from December 2018 to October 2022. From March 2011 to December 2018, they served as the Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of Calysta Energy. Before that, they were the President and Founder of S3 Innovations, Inc from April 2010 to January 2014.

Josh also has experience in scientific research and development. From March 2008 to January 2012, they were involved in developing the initial science applications for catalytic phage-based material synthesis technology platform at Siluria Technologies, Inc. Additionally, they served as the Vice President of Product Development at Amunix, Inc from July 2008 to March 2011.

Earlier in their career, Josh worked as the Director of Process Development at Amgen from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they held the position of Director - CMC at Avidia Research Institute from 2003 to 2006. Josh also worked as a Scientist at Maxygen from 2002 to 2003.
