On Premise Sales Representative at Wine Warehouse

Christina Kumar has a diverse work experience in the sales and marketing field, primarily in the hospitality and beverage industry. Christina began their career as a server at Area Ultra Events before earning promotions to eventually become a Marketing and Sales Manager. In this role, they were responsible for developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to increase profitability and meet company objectives. Christina then worked as a Marketing and Sales Manager at Underground Lounge, where they revitalized the event space, reshaped the brand, and implemented a successful social media strategy. Following this, Christina worked as a Marketing and Sales Manager at Arte Cafe on a contract basis, where they focused on increasing revenues, profitability, and foot traffic through event-based promotions and tastings. Christina then transitioned to the recruitment field, working as a Recruiter at Aerotek - Commercial Division. Currently, they are working as an On Premise Sales Representative at Breakthru Beverage Group. Prior to this, they held various sales and consultant roles at Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits, where they gained extensive experience in on-premise sales and consulting.

Christina Kumar graduated from Hunter College in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communication and Media Studies. In addition to their degree, they have obtained various certifications throughout their career. In 2009, they became a Certified Mixologist through Authentic Bartending. In 2013, they obtained the TIPS (Training for Intervention ProcedureS) certification from the NYSLA ATAP Program. Later, in 2016, Christina earned two additional certifications, including the Hospitality Beverage Specialist from the Society of Wine Educators and WSET II in Spirits from the Wine and Spirit Education Trust.
