Charles Cowan

Charles Cowan is a Shareholder and Associate Attorney at Wise Carter Child & Caraway, P.A., since August 2014, specializing in appeals and litigation within healthcare, business and commercial disputes, civil rights, and government matters, as well as general litigation related to railroads and insurance. Previously, Cowan served as a Law Clerk for the Honorable E. Grady Jolly at the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit from August 2013 to August 2014. Cowan's early legal experience includes summer associate positions at Wise Carter Child & Caraway and Cabaniss, Johnston, Gardner, Dumas & O'Neal LLP, as well as internships with the Mississippi Secretary of State and Haley Barbour for Governor. Cowan holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government and History from the University of Mississippi.
