Joe Burgett

Joe Burgett is a dedicated healthcare professional with extensive experience in community outreach, advocacy, and support for individuals with heart disease. Currently a Clinical Associate and Greeter at Lake Huron Medical Center since March 2022, Joe also serves as a District Leader and WomenHeart Champion with WomenHeart: the National Coalition for Women with Heart Disease, fostering engagement and education in heart health. Joe's advocacy work includes participation with the American Heart Association as a You're the Cure Veteran and AHA Advocate. Previous roles include Development and Fundraising at the Port Huron Housing Commission and serving as Site Manager for the Thomas Edison Depot Museum. Joe Burgett holds degrees in Communications, Journalism, History, Creative Writing, and Women's Studies from the University of Michigan.
