Vugar Mammadov

Executive Vice-president, World Association For Medical Law, Professor Of Legal Medicine&medical Law at World Association for Medical Law

Vugar Mammadov currently serves as the Deputy Chairman of the Board at the State Agency of Medico-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population of Azerbaijan. Additionally, Vugar holds positions as National Coordinator/National Consultant for the World Health Organization, Executive Vice-President of the World Association for Medical Law, and Vice-President of the Silk Road Forensic Consortium. An accomplished academic, Vugar is a Professor at Azerbaijan Medical University and has also taught at Baku State University. Vugar's experience includes a tenure as a Visiting Professional with the International Criminal Court and a leadership role in humanitarian and social projects at the Heydar Aliyev Center. Vugar's educational background includes advanced degrees in forensic medicine and law from various institutions, culminating in significant contributions to forensic sciences and medical law.
