Sam Purirani

Sam Purirani is an experienced engineering and maintenance professional with a comprehensive background in the steel and manufacturing industries. Currently serving as the Engineering and Maintenance Manager at Worthington Steel since February 2010, Sam focuses on improving plant overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) and establishing key performance indicators for departmental enhancement. Previously, from March 2005 to January 2010, Sam managed the engineering and maintenance departments for both Cleveland and Buffalo at Gibraltar Industries, overseeing a team of 40. Earlier roles include Maintenance Superintendent at Gibraltar Steel, where safety and environmental concerns were prioritized, and Electrical Engineer/Maintenance Supervisor at Gibraltar Industries, where innovative designs saved significant operational costs. Sam holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Cleveland State University.
