Prof. Ilan Alon

Prof. Ilan Alon currently serves as a Full Professor at Ariel University and the University of Agder, with a focus on mentoring PhD students in areas such as blockchain, cryptocurrencies, and machine learning. Alon holds the position of Editor-in-Chief for the International Journal of Emerging Markets and previously held the same role at the European Journal of International Management. Additionally, Alon is an Advisory Board Member for both PeaksDA VC and X-Culture. Past roles include Dean of the School of Economics at the College of Management Academic Studies and Executive Board Member and President of the Chinese Globalization Association. Alon has also contributed as a Research Fellow at Georgetown University and served as an Otto Mønsted Visiting Professor at Copenhagen Business School. Alon holds a Ph.D. and Master’s degrees in Business Administration and International Economics from Kent State University and Fairleigh Dickinson University.
