Ann-Katherine Kimble has a diverse work experience that spans across multiple education-related roles. Ann-Katherine has worked as a Director of Learning Experiences & Curriculum Design at XQ Institute, where they collaborated with the Educational Content Team to develop educational equity initiatives and lead projects through the design lifecycle. Prior to that, they worked as an Educational Consultant, pioneering micro-credentialing for professional development, designing digital lesson planning templates, and collaborating with film producers to design a DE&I training collection. Ann-Katherine also worked as a Curriculum Writer & DE&I Consultant at Westchester Publishing Services, analyzing academic curricular publications and authoring chapters for an American History textbook. Additionally, they served as a Member of a DLRT Focus Group for the 2020 Culturally Responsive Standards Initiative at the Illinois State Board of Education. Ann-Katherine has also worked as an Educational Consultant at AUSL and as a Partnerships Manager at Discovery Education. Ann-Katherine has experience as an American Literature and World History Teacher at Noble Network of Charter Schools and as an Academic Program Lead at Citizen Schools.

Ann-Katherine Kimble completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Secondary Education and Teaching from the University of Dubuque, attending from 2008 to 2013. Ann-Katherine later earned a Master of Arts (MA) in Secondary Education and Teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education, studying from 2017 to 2019.
