Peilin Lu is a dedicated and experienced leader in international relations and advocacy. Currently serving as the Hate Crime Advisory Council Judicial Research Assistant for Connecticut State Government, Peilin also holds the position of Secretary-General for the Yale Model United Nations, overseeing a large team to organize a major Model UN conference. With a background in human rights and economic empowerment, Peilin has contributed to various initiatives through roles such as Under-Secretary-General and Assistant-Secretary-General at Yale Model United Nations. Additionally, Peilin has experience as a Legal Intern at prominent law firms and as a co-Head of the Equal Justice Center at the Yale Policy Institute, focusing on hate crime laws and juvenile restorative justice. Peilin's work extends to advocacy for the Chinese American community and teaching international relations in China, demonstrating a strong commitment to policy research and community support. Peilin is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science at Yale University.
