Brandon Quach

freshman majoring in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at Yale Scientific Magazine

Brandon Quach is an undergraduate researcher at the Yale School of Medicine's Sorrells Lab since March 2024. As Synapse Co-President and Director of Operations at Yale Scientific Magazine, Brandon contributes to the nation's oldest college science publication, focusing on the digital platform The Scope. In addition, Brandon serves as a Student Assistant II, tutoring and mentoring high school students in the Rowland Unified School District. Previously, Brandon interned at the Yale Peabody Museum, where identification of Pliocene wood samples via electron microscopy contributed to upcoming museum exhibits. Brandon also worked as an Expert Tutor I at Mt. San Antonio College. Brandon is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at Yale University, having completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme at John A. Rowland High School.
