Brian Mcleskey

Brian M. currently serves as the Vice President of R&D and Fretted Instruments at Yamaha Guitar Group since September 2022, combining responsibilities as VP of Engineering. Prior to this role, Brian held numerous positions at Fender Musical Instruments Corporation from March 2009 to August 2022, including VP of Digital Hardware Engineering, VP of R&D for Jackson, Charvel, EVH, and Gretsch, Director of R&D for the same brands, and Senior Project Engineer. Brian's earlier experience includes roles at Mitel as Electronics Engineer III, Fender Musical Instruments as Project Engineer, and Avaya as Member of Technical Staff-I. Brian holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering Technology from Brigham Young University.
