Lacy K. has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a White House Intern at the Office of Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs in 2010. Lacy later joined the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) as a State Policy Intern for a brief period. In 2011, they returned to the White House and took on various roles, including Staff Assistant, Special Assistant, Associate Director of White House Personnel, and later, as the Director of the White House Internship Program and the DC Scholars Program. During their tenure, they successfully led a team in systematizing and reviewing applications for internship positions, implemented community service activities for interns, redesigned the intern curriculum for leadership development, and established agreements with speakers for management trainings. In 2018, Lacy joined Yes& Agency as the Director of Operations and Human Resources and then progressed to Vice President of Human Resources and Operations in 2022.

Lacy K. obtained a Bachelor's degree in Social Anthropology from Harvard University from 2005 to 2009.
