Nicky Lombardi

Nicky Lombardi's work experience includes roles at various companies. In their most recent position at YETI, they held the role of Design Engineering Manager starting in September 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Design Engineer at YETI from September 2019 to October 2022.

Before joining YETI, Lombardi worked at Graco Children's Products as a Senior Design Engineer, starting in August 2018 and transitioning to the role of Design Engineer in April 2016. They began their career at Graco as an Associate Design Engineer in October 2014.

Additionally, Lombardi worked as a New Product Development Engineer at W.L. Gore & Associates from February 2013 to September 2014. Before that, they gained experience as an intern at Calphalon in Research & Development, focusing on prototyping and analyzing new cookware concepts from May 2012 to August 2012.

Lombardi also contributed to Connect With Tech as a member of the Advisory Board, where they coordinated training for host students and managed a team of hosts from January 2010 to May 2012. They also held an intern role at Rubbermaid Medical Solutions, where they conducted competitive analysis and presented findings to improve the next generation medical cart from May 2011 to August 2011.

Their earliest work experience was as a Research Assistant Co-op at Georgia Tech Research Institute, where they worked on various projects, including developing a graphical user interface for worker movement analysis and designing options to improve bone detection technology from May 2009 to December 2010.

Nicky Lombardi attended the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering.
