Chris Short

Chris Short had extensive work experience in the aviation industry. Chris started their career in 1995 as the Director of Distribution at Libby Owens Ford Co, where they held the position until 1998. In 1998, they joined Cessna Aircraft Company as an Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic / Lead/Foreman and worked there until 2003. At Yingling Aviation, Chris held multiple roles over the years. Chris started as the Director of Maintenance in 2003 and remained in that position until 2019. In 2016, they also took on the role of Director of Paint Completions, which they held until 2018. Lastly, in 2019, Chris became the Vice President of Operations at Yingling Aviation, where they are responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and overseeing all MRO operations and departments.

Chris Short attended Liberty University from 2021 to 2022, where they studied Aviation Law/Management. Prior to that, from 1993 to 1995, Chris attended Wichita State University and pursued Business Administration and Management. In 1992 to 1993, they studied Aeronautical Science at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a focus on Aviation Maintenance/Science in Aeronautics. Chris also attended the Aviation School of America from 1990 to 1991, where they obtained a Completion Degree in General, Airframe, and Powerplant.
