Grace Parfitt

Grace Parfitt, CTRS, currently serves as the Swim Operations Director at The Y in Central Maryland, a position held since November 2024. Prior to this role, Grace Parfitt gained extensive experience at Hillside, Inc., progressing from Recreation Therapist to Recreation Therapy Manager between September 2017 and November 2024. Additional experience includes serving as an Apprentice Instructor at North Carolina Outward Bound School in mid-2017 and completing an RT internship at Hillside, Inc. in early 2017. Early career roles involved working as a Head Lifeguard and Lifeguard while studying at The University of Southern Mississippi from May 2015 to December 2016. Grace Parfitt holds a Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation/Recreational Therapy from The University of Southern Mississippi and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Recreation and Youth Development at Texas A&M University, expected to be completed by May 2025.
