Steve Wertenberger

Steve Wertenberger has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Steve worked as a Facilities Director at the YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region starting from January 2016. Prior to that, they owned and managed Wertenberger Property Management since May 2006. Steve also served as the International Facilities Project Manager at Compassion International from September 2005 to May 2015, where they conducted research, managed construction projects, and ensured quality control. At the United States Olympic Committee, Steve held multiple roles including Project Manager and Facility Operations/Systems Supervisor. In these roles, they successfully delivered projects, managed operations and maintenance of various facilities, and led security and safety initiatives.

Steve Wertenberger attended Cincinnati Christian University but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study. Steve has additional certifications including being a PMP (Project Management Professional) from the Project Management Institute and a Certified Facility Manager from the International Facility Management Association, obtained in July 2012 and expected in June 2015 respectively.
