Raymond Wong

Raymond Wong has work experience with YouView TV Limited starting in 2015. In 2017, they joined as a Graduate Software Engineer, where they worked on various tasks including feature requests, building and maintaining microservices, unit tests, fixing defects, and liaising with multiple teams. Raymond also focused on live TV, recordings, apps, guide, miniguide, notification, and dialog systems. In 2018, they transitioned to the role of Full Stack Software Engineer, continuing their work until 2021. In January 2021, they became a Full Stack Software Engineer with a specialization in Android TV. Raymond is currently employed by YouView TV Limited. During their internship in 2015, Raymond worked on different teams, including the Front End Web Technologies (FEWT) functional team and the Architecture Team, gaining experience in data collection, build infrastructure, and design and implementation of data capture infrastructure for the Next Gen UI.

Raymond Wong received their Bachelor of Science (BSc) (Hons) degree in Computer Science from the University of Greenwich, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. Prior to attending university, they attended Havering Sixth Form College from 2010 to 2013. Raymond completed their secondary education at The Albany School from 2004 to 2010. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including "The BIG BLUE run" 5km Charity Run and "You can't run away from Depression" 5km Charity Run from Havering Mind in 2015 and 2014 respectively. Raymond also completed certifications such as "Assessment Centre Hacks, Short-cuts & Coaching for Jobs in Business" from Windsor Fellowship, "GET Inspiring Leaders Programme" from The Change Leadership Foundation, "Introduction to Robotics" from the University of Greenwich, and "ScrumMaster (CSM)" from Scrum Alliance in various years. In 2010, they obtained a Work Experience Certificate of Competence from Havering Business & Education Partnership (HBEP).
