Richard Boswell

Richard Boswell is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in cloud computing, DevOps, and infrastructure architecture. Currently serving as Lead Principal Engineer and Head of DevOps and Platform Architecture at Thryv, Richard oversees global teams and is responsible for the design and operation of multi-cloud platforms. Previously, Richard held significant roles at VMware, leading product architecture for OpenStack and Kubernetes, and at Visa, where Richard spearheaded the transition to secure Infrastructure-as-a-Service. With a background that includes consulting on cloud strategies for Fortune 50 and 500 companies, Richard brings a wealth of expertise from roles in diverse industries, commencing with service as an Electronics Technician in the U.S. Navy. Education includes an AAS in IT from Fountainhead College of Technology and advanced training from various U.S. Navy nuclear programs.
