Matt Grofsky

Matt G. has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Matt served as the Chief Technology Officer at Ytel, Inc. from January 2000 onwards. Ytel is a cloud communications software provider that offers phone-based solutions for businesses. Prior to this, Matt founded F9 Group, Inc. in 2004 and worked as the Owner & Principal Engineer. F9 Group provided web marketing techniques, telephone systems, and brand development services to small to large-sized businesses. Matt also worked as a NQL Professional Services Developer and Certified Microsoft Developer at NQL, Inc. from January 1998 to January 2000. NQL is a leading innovator of intelligent software solutions.

Matt G. has a strong educational background in engineering and cybersecurity. Matt is currently pursuing a Doctor of Engineering (D.Eng) degree with a specialization in Cybersecurity Analytics from The George Washington University - School of Engineering & Applied Science, with an expected completion date in 2025. Prior to this, they obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree from the same institution, focusing on Cyber Policy and Compliance.

Before attending The George Washington University, Matt G. earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in East Asian Cultures from UC Irvine. Additionally, they completed the Korean Language Institute program at Yonsei University, emphasizing Korean Studies.

In addition to their formal education, Matt G. has obtained several certifications to enhance their skillset. Matt is a Professional Data Engineer certified by Google, as well as a Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect. Matt has also completed the "Architecting with Google Compute Engine" course offered by Google.
